Solider to love.

Elise moved her head to the right on the pillow trying to muffle the annoying noise, then to left and groaned into the pillow.

“Go away,” she mumbled. She hadn’t slept for long since coming home late last night after driving all the way from her sister’s place, and now someone was disturbing her peace. Exhaling heavily she closed her eyes and began to float again into oblivition.

The doorbell rang again. Scrunching the bed sheet and burying her face into the pillow, she growled and wished the person at the door would go away. The doorbell kept on ringing. Pushing the duvet cover to the other side of the bed, she swung her legs off the bed and got out, making a beeline for the front door. “Whoever is that door, better have something good to say.” She marched, resisting the urge to grab something to use a weapon when she opened it.

“What the hell do you want,” she said pulling the door open. “I need to—” her words died in her mouth when her eyes landed on a face she hadn’t seen for eight months. She had been preparing for his arrival next week when his tour finished and he came home for a months break.

Wide eyed, mouth gaping open, she stared at Dane who stood at the door step. His duffle bag hang off his shoulder, jeans and a white T-shirt replacing his uniform, and a smile on his face. She didn’t move, thinking she was dreaming and if her hand moved to touch him, he would disappear.

“Well, are you going to stand there all day or are you gonna hug me?” Dane asked, walking towards her and moved to put his bag down.

“Dane? Are you really here? I thought you said you were coming home next week, how, what—” she moved her hand from the door and launched herself at him, willing herself to believe that he really was home.

“Yes, I’m home baby. I’m here.” He murmured, squeezing her to him and she wound her hands around his shoulders and legs around his waist and hung tight on him. She buried her face in the space between his shoulder and neck and inhaled. Tears pricked at her eyes but she didn’t care. Dane was here. “Don’t cry, baby, you know I can’t deal with your tears, I’m here now.” Dane said running his hands up and down her back, then his fingers speared into her hair and started to move in slow circular motions.

“Let me look at you.” He said moving her head from between his shoulder and neck and cupped it in his hands. She gazed into those blue blue eyes and let a sob escape. She had missed him so much. His thumb swiped at the tears running down her cheeks and he leaned in to touch his lips on hers. She felt excited, pumped and releived all at once.

The kiss was so gentle. Filled with longing, desire, and pent up want for the months that they had been separated. One of his hands moved and she saw his return his duffle bag on his shoulder, then he started walking into the house, with her still wrapped around him.

The bag hit the floor, then the door closed, but all she saw was him.  She cupped his face and took his lips, so firm but soft. Her fingers disappeared into his short military hair, while his moved up her thighs and under the negligee she wore to rest on her waist.

“I have missed you.” She murmured over his lips, still dumbstruck that he was home. His lips took hers again. His tongue brushed her lips, swiping over her top one then licking the bottom into the hot depths of his mouth. She moaned, and he swallowed it with a smile. One of his hands moved up her back and pressed her to him more. His heat seeped into her, and she writhed, wanting to move somewhere where they could explore each other freely.

As if reading her thoughts, he broke the kiss, leaned his forehead to hers both panting and said. “Let’s go to the bedroom, baby. I want to see you. All of you.”

His mouth moved from her mouth, down her jaw line to her neck and she closed her eyes in sweet euphoria. He knew her weak spot. He nibbled on the spot where her blood pumped on her neck, licked then he kissed it slowly.

“Oh Dane.”

She didn’t know how they got to the bedroom until she felt the soft cool caress of the duvet on her back. Dane moved in between her legs and moved his hands up her legs, stopping to rub circles on the insides of her thighs then moved up ignoring her arched movement. He took the hem of the black negligee and pulled it off her.

She lay there, bared to his eyes that devoured every part of her and she felt her skin heat up more. He just sat on his hunches, and looked, and she let him take his time.

“My God you are beautiful,” he said. Looking into her eyes and holding them captive. His pupils were so dilated they were nearly black. He took the hem of his shirt and pulled it off and her eyes fell on his chest.

Muscles bunched, smooth and strong, she rose and ran her fingers on them. Still mesmerized like the first time she had seen them. He moved off the bed and she nearly whimpered at the loss of his warmth that had engulfed her, but only to remove his pants and she noted that he hadn’t worn anything under them.

“Come here.” He said, pulling her to him and took her lips for a devouring kiss. He lowered her to the bed before moving to sink into her depths. One his hands moved up her side and cradled her head. His eyes bore into hers, so blue, silently telling her he was home. He thrust into her slowly, taking his time to love her and she went with him. His eyes fell to her neck and he stopped.

“You’re wearing the necklace.” He murmured awestruck.

“It’s the only way I can have you with me all the times.” She replied. He dipped his head and kissed her with new heat. Moving faster inside her and she latched onto him savouring the moment.
